We Stand with Black Owned Businesses. Donate now

This Black History Month, Toasted Life, Shea’d, and the Oakland Black Business Fund are coming together to raise money for Oakland Black businesses affected by COVID-19. 50 lucky supporters will receive a curated gift box of products, gift cards, and coupons from Black-owned businesses in the Bay.

COVID-19 has had a large impact on our Black businesses. Let’s make sure they persevere and thrive in the future.

Toasted Life is an entertainment – lifestyle and leisure brand that cultivates community and champions celebration through dynamic events and experiences.

Shea’d is a browser extension that suggests Black-owned alternatives to products you shop for online.

Toasted Life and Shea’d came together because they wanted to increase the visibility of local, Black-owned businesses. Together they created Unbox’d, a curated gift box of products, gift cards and coupons all from local Bay Area Black-owned businesses.  The boxes will be given away through a raffle and 50 supporters will be selected to receive a box. To further support the community, all profits from the raffle will go the Oakland Black Business Fund, which supports Oakland businesses affected by COVID-19.

The box contains products, gift cards, and coupons from the following Bay Area Businesses:
